The Current Threat Level is: Category 2 - Cautious

The LabariaSoft Security Division ThreatCon is currently at Category 1 - Normal. There is now current or iminent threat to LabariaSoft or any of it's divisions.

Category 1 - Normal : This condition applies when there is no imminent threat to LabariaSoft, and its services. Under these conditions LabariaSoft remains in basic network posture. Products and services are fully operational.

Category 2 - Cautious : This condition applies when knowledge of an imminent attack or the expectation of an attack on LabariaSoft or its services is present, but there is currently no evidence to support it. Under this condition LabariaSoft remains in basic network posture, and some basic security procedures are put into play. LabariaSoft and its products are fully operational.

Category 3 - Elevated : This condition applies when strong evidence of an imminent attack or the expectation of an attack on LabariaSoft or its services is present. Under this condition LabariaSoft puts moderate security measures into play. At this stage, LabariaSoft and its services are fully operational, however contact via email may have a 24 hour delay due to increased security measures.

Category 4 - High : This condition applies when malicious activity has been detected, but no or minimal damage is present. Under this condition LabariaSoft puts high security measures into play. At this stage, LabariaSoft and its services are fully operational, however contact via email may have a 24 hour delay due to increased security measures.

Category 5 - Full Alert : This condition applies when malicious activity has been detected, and damage is present on LabariaSoft or its services. Under this condition strict security measures are put into play. At this stage some email accounts might be temporarily disabled and some services will not be operational due to strict security measures.
